Have you seen the movie Big Fish? If you haven't I suggest you do. If you have, you will understand what I am talking about. You know the town that he goes to, where everyone feels compelled to take of their shoes and they never want to leave? This happened to me this weekend. I found that town, but instead of having the softest grass in the world they have the clearest water and all you want to do is take off your shoes and walk on the beach till you die. I contemplated going on couch-surfer, find a place and stay for the weekend. I had a bag and my bikini already, all I would've needed was a ride back home. But alas I had glorious plans with wonderful friends the next day which beckoned me back home, so I don't regret leaving. Where is this place you may ask? And how did I find myself there? Today started off with donuts and church. It was a great start and laid the foundation for a nice restful day. I haven't done a cooking blog post for a while. Mainly because I haven't had time to really cook anything lately. But today broke the streak. Farrems and I decided to make a late lunch/ early dinner and we ate it on the roof because the weather was so nice. We bought half the ingredients from the 99cent Only store and Fresh and Easy...we were trying to be as frugal as possible. It tasted wonderful, if I do say so myself. Later we decided later to walk to the Saffron Rose Ice Cream Shop for a dessert, where I ordered my green tea ice cream. On the way, I decided to take pictures of our journey. Tomorrow I take off for Arizona...and I am still on Midwest time. I am fighting off sleep again. So I will talk to you later my loves.

This is a progress report of sorts... nothing witty, deep or thought provoking. Changed pictures of myself, I really didn't like the previous one, but I had my nose pierced this past week. I was actually very brave and didn't feel like I would pass out until much later. I used the rest of my gift card and saw Alice in Wonderland in 3D... in the second row from the front (which just gave me a headache, being that close with things come out around me). I liked the movie but I loved Alice's dresses while she was in Wonderland. I have been cooking up a storm the past few days. Chalupa Roast (we want to revise the name of that one, so any suggestions would be great) with my mom. Marinated Asparagus, Pepper Steak and Lemon Curd Tarts with Gma. In addition to having holes put in my face, watching movies and cooking, I also painted a mural in my friends' nursery when they were off to work. One of them was in on the surprise.
